How It All Began
Tiny Dancing Dara
Dara started dance at the age of three! By the end of her first recital performance, she declared to her grandparents that she would have a solo the next year. Though she did not perform a solo until she was older, Dara continued to dance, remaining eager to learn and excited to perform! Dance is now an abundant source of joy in Dara’s life. She says, “Nothing makes me happier than being onstage surrounded by other dedicated performers and friends. Building connections with each other as cast mates and sharing our joy or love or passion for what we’re doing together with an audience is a special feeling, I can’t get enough of it!”

Oklahoma City University Stars
Dara Brown is a well-rounded performer with extensive training in a variety of styles, some of which include tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary/lyrical, musical theatre, partnering, and precision dance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship! Dara is extremely grateful for the educational opportunities OCU gave her in preparation for the professional world. However, the friendships and memories created with her OCU family were definitely the biggest blessing from her time as a Star!

Royal Caribbean Adventures
Dara has recently completed her second contract with Royal Caribbean! She has loved her life performing at sea, traveling and making memories with her friends around the world, and especially the tan that came with it (which she hopes won’t fade too soon), but she is very excited to be back settled in New York! She can’t wait to do her favorite “land” things like cook her hyper fixation breakfast, take a group Pilates class, bake her grandma’s brownies recipe, and get ready with her girls for a GNO!
